The first day finishes with an overnight stay at the serene Riad Ouzina TGM where you will savor traditional food and the stillness of the desert night. You will return to Merzouga on the second day by an other way and find fresh routes, secret oasis, and striking desert landscape. Day 1: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Khamlia – Jdaid – Ouzina (Approx. 90 km)
Your quad trip starts in Merzouga early in morning with a quick equipment check and safety training. Once ready, you will ride right into the large Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will feel the excitement of riding across undulating sand hills with all around panoramic vistas. The Gnawa people, famed for their rich culture and spiritual music, call Khamlia, the first stop home. From there, the route passes via Jdaid and stretches of hamada as it continues across isolated desert plains and steep paths. You will stop for pictures, breaks, and quick visits to nomadic families still living in the desert along the route. Late afternoon will find you at the serene town of Ouzina, where Riad Ouzina TGM will greet you. In one of the most isolated parts of the Sahara, have a classic Moroccan meal and a laid-back evening beneath the stars.
Day 2: Ouzina – Ramlia – Taouz – Merzouga (Approx. 100 km)
Following breakfast at the riad, you will begin your way back, riding along a fresh path over the large and untamed desert into Ramlia, a little town next to a seasonal riverbed. From there, the path winds across dark desert terrain, dried lakes, and little oasis with constantly changing scenery that offers plenty of chances for photography and discovery. Approaching Taouz, near the Algerian border, you will follow picturesque off-road trails back into Merzouga. Re-entering the Erg Chebbi dunes for one more exciting ride causes the terrain to get increasingly challenging. Your two-day trip will come to an end with lifelong memories of the unspoiled beauty and independence of the desert when you return to Merzouga late afternoon.

No, our tours are easy for first-timers. Before the ride, you’ll get some simple guidance and a safety talk. Our guides will also change the route based on how comfortable you are with it.

Yes. Safety is very important to us. Everyone who comes is given a helmet and is led by trained workers who know the area well.

Each quad is made for one or two people. You and your friend can share a quad or ask for two different ones.
The tour comes with a local guide, picture stops, safety gear, and a bike to rent. You can ask for pick-up service and food, but they are not included.
