Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Merzouga (180 km)
On the first day of your 4 days KTM Morocco Desert tour our experienced team from Desert Ouzina quads will welcome you in Errachidia airport. ride up your KTM bike and let’s head towards the beautiful Ziz Valley, which has one of Morocco’s biggest palm islands. The ride goes from beautiful roads to rough desert terrain as it winds through stunning canyons and old kasbahs. As we get closer to Erfoud and Rissani.
The scenery changes into long stretches of rocky paths and dry riverbeds that take you deeper into the Sahara. The most exciting part of the day is seeing the famous Erg Chebbi dunes for the first time. You can put your off-road skills to the test on these huge golden sand dunes. After a fun day on the trails, we conclude the day in a beautiful Hotel & Riad in Merzouga for relax and getting ready for what’s coming next.
Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Taouz – Ouzina (160 km)
Wake up early today to witness a magical sunset over the golden dunes, have breakfast. Then strike the sand. Following the great Erg Chebbi dunes, perfecting your dune-riding skills, and appreciating the excitement of limitless off-road freedom, today’s path leads us far into the heart of the Sahara. After leaving the dunes behind.
The trip leads to Taouz, an old desert stronghold with amazing prehistoric rock sculptures. Riding along sandy riverbeds, dried lake, and wide desert tracks leading to the secluded splendor of Ouzina, the paths became more challenging. Far off from the visitor paths, this unspoiled desert area provides a window into real Berber life. Upon arrival Ouzina we will stay the night at the charming Riad Ouzina TGM.
Day 3: Ouzina – Ramlia – Merzouga (170 km)
After a delicious Berber breakfast, it’s time to face one of the most exciting sections of the journey: the Dakar Rally courses. These classic desert trails provide fast, wide riding across sandy plains, rocky passes, and dry river crossings, creating a memorable enduro experience. The varied vistas of Jbel Mdouar make every kilometer fascinating, testing both skill and stamina.
Riding farther into the Sahara, we will arrive at Ramlia, a little community in one of Morocco’s most desolate areas. The route from Ramlia to Merzouga combines challenging desert riding with smooth rally roads, delivering a spectacular return to the dunes. As the sun sets, we will arrive at a breathtaking luxury desert camp, where we will spend a memorable night in a private tent, enjoy Berber dinner with traditional music.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Errachidia (180 km)
After a wonderful breakfast at the camp, your KTM desert adventure starts with a breathtaking sunrise above the dunes. Today we will visit the lively souk, historic ksars, and palm-lined oasis of Rissani, a historical caravan trade center. Next the ride continues towards Errachidia, providing stunning views of Morocco’s mountain ranges and arid landscapes. Riders must have a current motorbike license and off-road expertise before to starting our 4 Day KTM Desert Tour from Errachidia. Fuel, Yamaha motorcycles, mechanical support, lodging, meals (breakfast and dinner), and a 4×4 support car make up the journey. Not included are flights, obligatory travel insurance, lunches, beverages, personal expenditures, Prepare for a legendary desert adventure!
Always include basic riding gear including a helmet, gloves, jacket, knee protection, and strong boots. Along with sunscreen, sunglasses, a compact bag, comfortable, light-weight clothes for the day and warm layers for desert evenings are absolutely essential. Though winter (Nov-Feb) brings cold desert evenings, summer (June-Aug) may be rather scorching.
