Day 1: Merzouga – Taouz – Ouzina (Approx. 120 km)
Your trip starts with a warm-up ride over Erg Chebbi’s highest dunes. You then continue south to Taouz, renowned for its prehistoric rock engravings. Crossing sandy riverbeds and rocky plateaus, the route stretches into the far-off desert near Ouzina. Over night in a quiet desert auberge surrounded by orange dunes.
Day 2: Ouzina – Ramlia – Jdaid (Approx. 130 km)
Ride further into the Sahara after breakfast, passing the little hidden gem near the Algerian border, Ramlia. There are sandy oueds, dried lake beds, and fossil fields on the untamed and raw path. You will reach Jdaid, a less-known yet ideal peaceful halt for rejuvenation.
Day 3: Jdaid – M’harech – Oubahlou (Approx. 130 km)
The trip today is tough and picturesque. You will pass the stunning and lovely M’harech Canyon canyon with steep walls. The path runs via little valleys and arid plains toward Oubahlou, a far-off area with rather remarkable scenery. This is the day to put your abilities to the test and really enjoy utter desert solitude.
Day 4: Oubahlou – Taouz – Merzouga (Approx. 120 km)
Loop back north into Merzouga on the last day on newly constructed trails offering a different viewpoint on the ground. Before getting back to Merzouga in the afternoon, stop for pictures along paths rich in fossils, ride by picturesque peaks, and cruise past desert nomads. Finish the trip with mint tea at your motel and a sunset over the dunes.

Riders must have a current motorbike license and off-road expertise before to starting our 4 Day KTM Desert Tour from Merzouga. Though winter (Nov-Feb) brings cold desert evenings, summer (June-Aug) may be rather scorching.
