Day 1: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Agdz – Zagora (200 km)
On the first day of your 4 days KTM Desert tour in Morocco our experienced team will welcome you at the airport or meet you at your accommodation and get ready for a remarkable off-road experience. The first stage of the journey takes us to the well-known Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site noted for its magnificent kasbahs. Thereafter we ride across the picturesque Draa Valley, via verdant palm groves and ancient Berber Villages and towns. As we travel approach Agdz, the topography starts to change, and the rocky desert scene starts. We will get to Zagora, a desert town sometimes referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” Once we arrive our accommodation have a much-needed shower and relax and dinner time.
Day 2: Zagora – M’hamid – Erg Chigaga Dunes (160 km)

After a typical breakfast Erg chegaga dunes passing through M’hamid el Ghizlan, the last settlement before the great sand dunes. Traversing the renowned Erg Chigaga dunes, among of the biggest in Morocco, you will feel exhilarating sand riding on your KTM bike as you dig farther into the desert. With soft sand and vast desert settings all around, this is the ultimate test of ability and endurance. Spending the night in a desert camp, we will be able to unwind by the fire, enjoy traditional Berber music, and stare sky full of stars.
Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Foum Zguid – Tata (200 km)
Following an amazing daybreak on the dunes, we will bike across isolated desert terrain towards Foum Zguid across the well-known Lake Iriki dry lakebed. KTM motorcycles would find the fast, open terrain ideal for an exciting ride. After a lunch stop at Foum Zguid, the trip continues toward Tata, a little desert hamlet encircled by steep mountains. After a full day of off-road riding, we reach our destination Tata where we will be spending the night at a wonderful Guesthouse.
Day 4: Tata – Tazenakht – Ouarzazate (230 km)
The last day transports you on a picturesque journey on less well-known desert paths in Morocco. After passing Tazenakht, a village well-known for its Berber carpets, you will return to Ouarzazate From rough desert to the Anti-Atlas Mountains’ foothills, the terrain changes to provide a last mix of bends and open roads. Arriving in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, you will finish the journey with a goodbye coffee before splitting off with your fellow cyclists.

Always include basic riding gear including a helmet, gloves, jacket, knee protection, and strong boots. Along with sunscreen, sunglasses, a compact bag, comfortable, light-weight clothes for the day and warm layers for desert evenings are absolutely essential. Though winter (Nov-Feb) brings cold desert evenings, summer (June-Aug) may be rather scorching.
