Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Merzouga (180 km)
On the first day of your 6 days KTM Morocco Desert tour our experienced team from Desert Ouzina quads will welcome you in Errachidia airport. ride up your KTM bike and let’s head towards the beautiful Ziz Valley, which has one of Morocco’s biggest palm islands. The ride goes from beautiful roads to rough desert terrain as it winds through stunning canyons and old kasbahs. As we get closer to Erfoud and Rissani.
The scenery changes into long stretches of rocky paths and dry riverbeds that take you deeper into the Sahara. The most exciting part of the day is seeing the famous Erg Chebbi dunes for the first time. You can put your off-road skills to the test on these huge golden sand dunes. After a fun day on the trails, we conclude the day in a beautiful Hotel & Riad in Merzouga for relax and getting ready for what’s coming next.
Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Taouz – Ouzina (160 km)
Wake up early today to witness a magical sunset over the golden dunes, have breakfast. Then strike the sand. Following the great Erg Chebbi dunes, perfecting your dune-riding skills, and appreciating the excitement of limitless off-road freedom, today’s path leads us far into the heart of the Sahara. After leaving the dunes behind.
The trip leads to Taouz, an old desert stronghold with amazing prehistoric rock sculptures. Riding along sandy riverbeds, dried lake, and wide desert tracks leading to the secluded splendor of Ouzina, the paths became more challenging. Far off from the visitor paths, this unspoiled desert area provides a window into real Berber life. Upon arrival Ouzina we will stay the night at the charming Riad Ouzina TGM.
Day 3: Ouzina – Ramlia – Erg Chegaga (220 km)
We start one of the most exciting parts of the trip after breakfast by going through the Ramlia region, where the scenery is always changing. Riders face an exciting task on the fast Dakar Rally tracks that go through rocky desert passes. As we ride toward Erg Chegaga, which is Morocco’s largest sand dunes area, the land turns into a sea of golden sand. It has both difficult parts and fast, open desert riding, making it the best KTM sand riding experience ever. We are going to sleep tonight in a fancy desert camp with traditional music and a fire in the middle of the open Sahara sky.
Day 4: Erg Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid (180 km)
Today after breakfast we leave the spectacular Erg Chegaga and ride across Foum Zguid passing through Lake Iriki, which is a huge, dry lakebed that’s great for fast riding in the desert. You can fully enjoy the freedom of off-road riding at this part of the trip, which is one of the most exciting parts. On our way to Foum Zguid, an oasis town on the edge of the Sahara, the scenery changes from here to there. There are now sandy riverbeds, rolling dunes, and rocky tracks. There is just the right amount of speed and technical difficulty on the ride. We will stay the night in a Charming Guesthouse or a Riad and get ready for the next day.
Day 5: Foum Zguid – Dades Valley (230 km)
As we leave the desert, we ride through Berber villages, fascinating landscapes, canyons, and spectacular mountains. Today is all about variety expect fast gravel tracks, difficult rocky climbs, and scenic winding roads. When we get to the Dades Gorges, we will be surrounded by towering red cliffs and stunning natural formations. We will be spending the night in a fabulous Riad near the Gorges.
Day 6: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate (180 km)
On the last day of your trip, we go to Skoura, famed for its old kasbahs and breathtaking palm trees. Off-road desert paths and twisting mountain roads blend to provide one more exciting ride before reaching Ouarzazate. Along the way we will stop at the well-known Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar that has had appearances in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones, and many other more movies. Once in Ouarzazate your 6 Days KTM Morocco tour comes to an end.

Riders must have a current motorbike license and off-road expertise before to starting our 6 Day KTM Morocco Desert Tour. Fuel, Yamaha motorcycles, mechanical support, lodging, meals (breakfast and dinner), and a 4×4 support car make up the journey. Not included are flights, obligatory travel insurance, lunches, beverages, personal expenditures, Prepare for a legendary desert adventure!
Always include basic riding gear including a helmet, gloves, jacket, knee protection, and strong boots. Along with sunscreen, sunglasses, a compact bag, comfortable, light-weight clothes for the day and warm layers for desert evenings are absolutely essential. Though winter (Nov-Feb) brings cold desert evenings, summer (June-Aug) may be rather scorching.
Always follow the advice of your guide for your safety we have very knowledgeable guides who will lead you safely during your tour with us; keep a safe space between riders; be careful on sandy, rocky, or steep ground. Drinking lots of water is quite advised since hydration is quite important. These preparations will help you to be ready for a remarkable desert adventure!
